Anita Hunt
Skating Experience
Anita has been skating for 34 years, competing for 22 of those years.
During her competitive career, Anita competed in figures, freeskating, solo dance, creative solo dance, dance pairs, freedance couples, mini precision, precision, and show groups. She has competed in 21 State championships, 14 National championships, 6 Oceania Championships and 4 World Championships. Internationally, Anita has 2 Oceania medals and a top ranking of 4th at the World Championships as a member of the Skate Australia precision team in 2007. She is up to Gold proficiency tests in figures, solo dance, precision and dance couples. She is up to Silver level proficiency in freeskating, loops, and couples Freedance. |

Coaching Experience
Anita has been coaching as an accredited coach for 20 years. She has coached skaters to International level, including medals at Oceania championships in figures, solo dance/solo freedance and mini precision. She has been the High Performance Coach for Skate Australia since 2012 working with the elite athletes with a special focus on Strength and Conditioning. She has coached/managed the Oceania team on 6 occasions, and the World team on 3 occasions. She was awarded the Skate Queensland Coach of the Year award in 2010 and 2012 and the Skate Australia Coach of the Year in 2012.
Other Skating Experience
Anita is a bronze level judge in figures, freeskating and dance. She is a gold level judge in precision and a gold level referee. She is currently completing silver level judging accreditations in figures and dance.
