Comgratulations to all the skaters at the 2025 state championships. The standard of skating in Queensland is improving and it was a weekend of fantastic performances. LCSA finished this weekend with incredibly successful outcomes, but also fantastic performances. Final medal tally was 9 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze. We had first time competitors overcoming nerves, we had tencity when it doesnt always work and we had success when it does and many, many PBs achieved this weekend.
Firstly, the skaters. You have all worked so hard and it’s amazing to see challenges being overcome and goals being reached. Thank you parents for everything that happens behind the scenes to get the skaters on the floor, not only on the big events, but day in and day out. Thank you to our support crew - from the club members (from new to old) who came to watch and support, to the families who volunteered to help the championship running smoothly, to the coaches and skaters from other clubs who assist, support and work together for the benefit and love of the sport. And finally thank you to our coaching team who support our skaters and assist them to learn, grow, develop and succeed.
